Sen (Joanne) Graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor Health Science in Physiotherapy and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Mindbody therapy. She has worked as a Physiotherapist for over 15 years in New Zealand, UK and Australia.

Her experience includes public and private hospitals, community settings and in Private Practice. She has also worked at the Physiotherapy School (NZ) as a Clinical Educator and Senior Clinician in a community Physiotherapy Clinic.

Most recently Sen has worked in Aged Care providing mobility assessments, falls prevention, manual handling and pain management therapy. She has also provided home visits in the Peninsula for rehabilitation following hospital discharge for orthopedic and surgical procedures. Sen is currently working part-time at a Specialist School providing Therapy for children.

As a Physiotherapist, Sen enjoys working with clients in their home environment. She believes it gives you an invaluable insight into the client’s real-life situation which allows for more tailored treatment approaches and overall better outcomes.

Apart from working as a Physiotherapist, Sen is mum to two young girls, wife of a business owner and aspiring yogi! I have practiced yoga since my early 20’s and I am in training towards gaining my Iyengar teaching certification.

Sen is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
